I've been thinking a lot about Florine lately, especially since I saw a painting by the artist Florine Stettheimer at MoMA last week and was entranced by it. What do you think of Florine? I'm sure people will dismiss it because it sounds just like fluorine, but I'm not bothered by that.

In a country filled, as are its sandwiches, with Flora margarine, it just looks like a merger to me. But I do like the painting - thank you!

Chlorine, fluorine, urine.. Not the best name. The painting is nice, and I actually kinda like the sound. It would definitely make an interesting middle name. But I would prefer Flora and Florence. Maybe even Fiorella.

I didn't actually think of fluorine, but Florine feels limp and lacklustre in comparison with Florence or Flora.

I think its gorgeous! It sounds very mature, but remains digestable and cute. Florine Magali, Florine Letita, and Florine Saskia compliment the name wonderfully. I don't think the semblance to Flourine is too distracting, but the autocorrect is a tad annoying.

I mentioned this in the Lounge a few days ago, but it seems to be happening here too. Your username stays the same, but you also keep posting using different posting names. You need to pick one and stick with it if you are trying out different posting names. If you are trying to pass as two or more different people, stop doing that because 1. It's against the board rules and 2. It isn't fooling anyone.

No, I'm not trying to "pass off" as different people. I'm not that much of an idiot.

I changed the name in my profile settings a long time ago. It pre sets my posting name, and I have been putting of changing it in favor of switching it last second.

It was a quick rushed comment and I forgot to do so before I commented. I apologize for not paying attention.
