There was a boy called Kit (full name) in my class when I was a kid. I have always thought of it as a guy name, because of him and because of Kit Carson. It has a wild-west vibe for me because of Carson. I've never met a girl Kit, nor heard of one that I can recall, and can hardly picture it on a girl. So when I read your subject line I thought: "Of course it's on a boy."
