Somebody I know just had a baby named Eve Nicole. Nicole is to honor Eve’s deceased Grandmother. Thoughts?

I think that this combination is fine. Personally, I prefer Eva to Eve, but Eve is a nice name. Nicole is a common middle name, though. Eh, it’s still pretty nice, imo. All that really matters is if they’re happy with their daughter’s name. They got to honor their mom, you know? That’s sweet.

I think it works well. I prefer Nicola to Nicole, but as an honouring mn Nicole is fine; it also sounds better than Eve Nicola.

I don’t think it flows super well, but it’s still cute. I think Eve is one of those names that needs a more “frilly” middle name, but if they wanted to honor their mother then who am I to judge? If I wanted the middle name to be Nicole, I’d probably pick a longer first name like Evelina. I don’t think it’s bad though. It may be common, but it’s better than being tacky.
