HiI have a question. I don't know why the name Alba is so popular name in France. What is the reason?

Most likely due to the proximity to Spain and Italy. Just compare other names that are somewhat commonly used in France but are native to said countries (e.g. Luis, Paula, Giovanni, Chiara...).But Alba's case is strange - it went over 370 spots in 5 years!

No idea. I watched Cable Girls (Las Chicas Del Cable) and the main character in there is named Alba, that’s the only connection I can think of.

That is a very interesting question! It soared from #54 to #8. My only guess is due to Jessica Alba?
