Nope, nope, nope, not at all. Not only are they much too tied to the muppets that everyone knows about, but I don't care for the names themselves. I feel Elmo and Kermit would be the most problematic,because of how recognizable those characters are.
Being a middle name would be slightly less problematic because less people would naturally know about it, but would still be room for teasing once known.
Kermit is so synonymous with the green frog, and I'm pretty sure almost every single person had some type of Elmo toy, or other merchandise as a young child.
