[Opinions] Anne
What do you think of Anne? Is it better than Mary? Worse? About the same? What would you use as a middle name?

I prefer Anne to Mary - both are family names. My mn was my paternal grandmother's mn, and is now my daughter's second mn.I'd happily use Marianne!I dislike Anna and Annie, and Ann looks incomplete.

I think Anne radiates the same energy as Mary, as being classic, plain, and sophisticated. I would pair it as Anne-Marie lol, it's more common as a combo

I actually like Anne. As a matter of fact, it’s basically how I feel about names like Sarah, and Mary. Simple, pretty, and unquestionable classics. I like Anne because it’s sweet, cool, and it gives me intelligent vibes. I don’t care for Ann, not even as a middle name. I do like Anna more, but I would like to see Anne on somebody someday. I’d say it’s about the same. I prefer Mary to Anne to I’d have to think about it. Marianne or Mary Anne are very pretty and delicate together however.Anne Lorelei
Anne Beatrice
Anne Helena
Anne Luna
Anne Xenia
Anne Gabriella

Eh.I don't know.On the one hand it does feel classic and I do think it feels far less filler as a first name and with the "e" at the end - Ann feels incomplete to me.On the other hand, it isn't particularly exciting. I tend to prefer Anna, that feels a little more exciting. I prefer Mary to Anne.I do think Anne needs to be paired with something a bit more dramatic.Anne Hathaway's middle name is Anne Jacqueline, I kind of like that. Anne Elizabeth, Anne Alexandra? Something of that nature - classic, but more... forceful.

I like Mary a bit more, but Anne is very nice too. It’s not exciting, but it’s warm and sweet. Anna and Annie are so different to me, though, and I like them much more than Anne.

I think Anne is better than Mary, it’s more youthful.
There’s so many names that go with it, that I’m not sure what I’d use.

I love Anne. It's visually pleasing and I like the simplicity of the sound. I think it's like John in that it's plain, but in a lots of personalities can fit way than a boring way. I used to like Mary, but after meeting a few it struck me as awfully drab, so I would call Anne better.I'd go for a longish middle name
