[Opinions] Sarah Catherine
What do you think of this combo? Any nicknames for her? If you don't like one of its compound (Sarah or Catherine), what would you like to replace it with?

headache dull ...Two of the blandest popular girls' names out there. Put them together and it's just a big crashing bore.

I've known a lot of Sarah Katherine / Sarah Catherines, many who went by both names. Sarah Elizabeth was the most common Sarah combo of girls I knew (and I knew/know A LOT of Sarahs around my age - I'm a "grandmillenial" born 1985). Because Sarah was so common in my generation, I was sick of it for a long time. It seems like an oatmeal name, really plain and why would you have it when there are so many other wonderful options? But since I don't hear it as often anymore, it's a tad less boring. I can appreciate that the sound, Sair-uh, is pretty and soft. It's somewhat like Anna (but not as pretty IMO). Sarah Catherine is nice together. It's very traditional. I'd be tempted to use a more unusual middle name, though, to spice up Sarah. Sarah Josephine? Sarah Genevieve? Sarah Beatrice?

I think it's lovely. I tend to think of it as a double first name. Maybe Sarah Catherine Elizabeth.I've always thought in terms of spelling, either Sarah Catherine or Sara Katharine is best.

Yes I planned to make it as a double first name, just like Sarah Catherine Hook (?)

Have never know anyone called Sarah, find it elegant, attractive, timeless, and bullet proof. Prefer Katherine always, but Catherine is fine. Katherine has always held a spot on my favorites list. Probably would not team them, though, off the top of my head, perhaps Sarah Yvonne,
Katherine Raquel

I prefer Katharine to Catherine, and most things to Sarah. Morag is used instead of Sarah in Scots Gaelic; good name but it doesn't sound very good with Catherine. Katharine Morag would do it for me!

Katharine Morag sounds professional.

Bland combo, but flows well. I'd say "Sadie" as a nn.A bit more interesting:
Sarah Carina
Sarah Damaris
Sarah Corinne
Sadia Catherine
Soraya Catherine
Zara Catherine
Seren Catherina
Cara Sandrine
