[Facts] Why many submitted names are no definition.
This is for some reason. Why does every edit have no definition and delete all submitted names? I prefer to read with a definition because it's very interesting, but every submitted name is "not available". I'm afraid that people are disagree my opinion then I want to ask about it. Thanks.

Some people just submit names without bothering to look up the definition (or if it's of dubious usage, to see if it's actually used). It was a lot worse when I first joined the site, but in the past few years the admins have cracked down on submitted names. Also, back then people used to submit duplicates. I remember the name Ichigo was submitted over a dozen times.

Well,in order to give a definition or an etymology of a name one has to know it first. There are names that I have encountered in real life on real persons, like Willkit and Elsegod, where I don't really have any clue what the full name or a part of the name means. It is better not to give a definition in this case instead of inventing one just for the sake of completeness. And yes, names with invented and made-up etymologies are cleaned up or deleted altogether as "prank submissions". The editors of this site are striving for quality and reliability.--elbowin
