[Opinions] Tiana / Tianna

Hi. What are your thoughts on the name Tiana? Do you prefer Tatiana or is the spelling Tianna better to you? What middle name would you use for it?In the 1st grade I had a girl named Tiana in class who was a bit of a badass. She loved her name and thought it was better than everybody else’s (Probably because it was the name of a Disney Princess? She was born before the movie.) I really didn’t care at the time, but it’s interesting to think about now. I also have a friend named Tianna who I met last year. The spelling was kind of weird to me at first but I got used to it. It still looks pretty to me.

I prefer Tiana to Tatiana, but they’re both nice! Personally, I probably wouldn’t use it. However, it’s still a nice name. You could use the nickname “Tia” which is pretty cute. If I were to choose a similar name, I’d go for Tia, Taniya, or Tania.Also, the Princess and the Frog association isn’t a bad one, in my mind!

It's fine but sort of forgettable.I don't pronounce them the same, more like tee-AH-na (Tiana) and tee-UNN-a or tee-ANN-a (Tianna).I don't really like Tatiana but it's fine.Tiana and Tianna are both fine but Tianna looks more substantial.Tianna Vivienne

Definitely prefer Tatiana here. Tiana sounds unfinished to me. It's pretty but insubstantial.Tiana / Tatiana Cathleen
