Honestly, I find Cassandra kind of boring. It’s pretty, but it’s overdone.
Emmeline is more original and I think the sound is fresher. It makes me think of a bouquet.
Emma as a nickname doesn’t bother me.

Emmeline. You never see Emmeline anymore and I'm a bit tired of Cassandra for my generation and older. I still like it but I feel Emmeline is the superior of the two based on freshness, and Emmeline is ready to return now.

I’m a minority, but I prefer Cassandra! I just really love the way it sounds and its nickname “Cassie” or “Cass”. It reminds me of a sweet, sugary smell. Also, a meadow full of wildflowers.

Albeit I like the EHM-e-leen pronunciation more, that doesn't change my views on the name and therefore choose it. Emmeline needs to rise in the charts - it's incredibly underrated! Needless to say, it's a fresh option. The nickname Emmy is adorable.
