I second your associations. Pacifica is a very pretty name and would make a good middle name, imo. I think it sounds a bit too much like the Pacific Ocean to be a first name, though (plus I can't think of any nicknames), so I wouldn't use it, but go ahead if it floats your boat. I really like it.
