[Opinions] Dream names - including Desdemona
Please enjoy another batch of names that came to me in a dream :-)A young girl struck up a conversation with whom she believed to be a cleaning lady named Halina, who was a friend of one of her teachers who died under mysterious circumstances. The woman corrected the girl, saying she was a new hire called Desdemona. The girl, and avid reader, fawned over the name, though the cleaning lady said she hated it, and envied her half-sisters, whose names - Julia and Daria - were far more common. My questions:• What do you think of Halina (ha-LEE-na)? What vibes does it give you? What do you imagine a Halina would be like?
• What do you think of Daria (DAR-ya, rolled R? What vibes does it give you? What do you imagine a Daria would be like?
• What first and/or middle names would you pair with Desdemona?
• What would you name a younger sister to Julia and Daria (with your choice of pronunciation)? Middle names optional, but welcomed.
• What would you name two older sisters to Desdemona? Middle names optional, but welcomed.masculine list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/191050/124079

Halina- it has witchy vibes and I don’t really like that. The spelling Helena is better. It’s like when people spell Selena like Salina, it just looks wrong. I’d imagine a bossy old woman. Daria- I used to really really like this name, and revisiting it I still really like it, although it kinda reminds me of the tv show, and I met a Dario who was… not nice… I kind of imagine a Daria being sort of like a sarcastic manic pixie dream girl. It reminds me of names like Violet and Izzy, it has a certain toughness and spunk to it.
Desdemona Vera, Desdemona Ruby, Desdemona Lila
Well, Julia and Daria both end in ia. And they’re both very “sharp” names in my mind, if that makes sense. I’d say Octavia, Lucia, Claudia, Grazia, Olivia, Alicia, Lydia, Victoria, Sophia etc.
Anything that ends in -ia and is plain enough to fit with Julia, but vibes well enough to fit with Daria. Bianca, Valentina, Ursula, Claudia, Ophelia, Cressida, Mariana, Veronica, Tamora, Tabitha, Marcia.
Anything from that bank, or any Shakespearean/Italian names that have the same “look at me I’m so complex/bold” vibe.

One time I had a dream where I had a daughter named Cassidy.
I met a female mermaid named Chancellor once which was pretty weird.
And last night I had a dream where I had a character named Jenny.

• What do you think of Halina (ha-LEE-na)? What vibes does it give you? What do you imagine a Halina would be like?Well, I prefer Melina or Helena, personally. It does remind me of Hailey, which is another name I like. It gives me mysterious vibes. I’m not one to stereotype a name, but I think of a teenager in a hoodie who likes drawing. One with long, dark hair. She can’t ever seem to put down her sketch pad.
• What do you think of Daria (DAR-ya, rolled R? What vibes does it give you? What do you imagine a Daria would be like?Daria is a nice name; I like the way it sounds. I wouldn’t naturally pronounce it with a rolled r, though. It reminds me of flowers. So, I’d imagine someone named Daria as a florist. • What first and/or middle names would you pair with Desdemona?Desdemona Clarice, Desdemona Lucille, Desdemona Charlotte. • What would you name a younger sister to Julia and Daria (with your choice of pronunciation)? I would like to imagine Halina as a woman with an economic crisis. She's also emotionally tired; she needs a friend but she can't get one and she didn't have the time to meke friends.• What do you think of Daria (DAR-ya, rolled R? What vibes does it give you?
