No, just no.
I have no idea where the idea of naming children after days of the week came from but it seems like a fleeting trend and I just don't get it. Ugh.
(Okay, maybe fleeting isn't the right word: I remember saying I thought Thursday was ugly as a name 15 years ago on here and being in the minority.)

It's a common practice in certain African cultures at least: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akan_names.
