Classic, sweet, traditionally feminine, I like it. I don't have any particular qualms with it.
I used to not like it but I think it's kind of cute now.
I do prefer the Japanese Naomi (nah-oh-mee) over the English one (nay-oh-mee).

Haha, I just commented on the "favorite girl names beginning with N" post that my favorite one was Naomi!
I used to really love Naomi, but my feelings have cooled toward her. That said, I find her incredibly unique - vowel-heavy without being wispy and carried away. She's also recognizable in several cultures, given that there are both Hebrew and Japanese etymologies.

This is one of my favorite names. It always made me think of tropical beaches for some reason.
I like Noemi better.
I think it's very pretty, especially for a middle name.
Naomi is beautiful, pleasant, and familiar. Very respectable and dignified name that has stood the test of time. Both pronunciations are beautiful, and the spelling is pretty too. I never met an ugly Naomi! The “I moan” thing is just stupid to me.

I ADORE Naomi, it’s probably my favourite biblical girls name. Only good things to say about it!
I’m copy and pasting something from another thread.
I used to love this name as a little girl but unfortunately life happened. I remember I was like 7 years old I was coloring unicorns with these girls and we were naming them. Everyone was naming theirs Cupcakes or Candy or something, which isn’t bad but I wanted to be different. I remember I thought back to when I was playing Wii sports and I saw a character named Naomi, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever because I had never met a Naomi. I even asked my mom how to pronounce it after. So I was like “my unicorn is called Naomi!!!” And everyone thought it was the weirdest name ever cuz we were 7 and not exposed to every name in the world yet. But yeah, ruined later on. I met a Naomi two years ago, and she wasn’t a bad person per se, we just have a lot of drama and she’s the first person I think about when I hear the name.
So I have a lot of thoughts about Naomi as a name.
But if you’re not me and don’t have any bad associations with it, use it if you’d like. It’s nice.
