Christabel, preferably Christabelle.

Christabel is a very beautiful well rounded name. Shame it reminds me of Cristobal Colon, not a huge fan of the guy.

Anastasia. The name has plenty of nickname possibilities.I don’t like Christabel. I prefer Christine or Christina.

For everyday use, Anastasia, with its menagerie of nicknames. But Christabel has some pastoral charm that icy Anastasia lacks.

I prefer Christabel. Mn only, because Chrissy or Chris would be inevitable nns. Two of my great-grandmothers were named Christiana and they both were known as Chrissy; I'd never use Christiana, partly because it's really too religious for me, and partly because I find the rhythm clunky and unattractive. Anastasia, of course, has the same rhythm, so does Isabella, and I'd avoid all of them.I'm not sure why Christabel seems less religious than Christiana! Maybe the Coleridge poem? Pity he never finished it.

Anastasia is the better of the pair.
Christabel looks ugly and I don't like the sound of it.

Anastasia, definitely. It’s very elegant, while Christabel is kind of clunky, almost horse like imo.

Oh, Anastasia hands down. Long time favorite of mine. Very elegant and sophisticated. Holds regal beauty. Those same descriptions cannot be said the same for Christabel, as it comes across as sounding awkward and forced, and even appears incomplete. It isn't very flattering, both in sound and appearance. It trails in comparison to Anastasia in both of those accounts, even with it's multiple 'A's.
Anastasia also brings to mind the 1997 film that I absolutely cherished as a child. 🤗
