I also hope that's not where the parents got the idea for the name, but... doubtful.
With the sibling Hartley (hart... heart), and without the You influence, my first impression would be that the parents were some kind of neo-yuppie-hippies, or something.

That was my first thought too! I don't think the show will be so big when Love starts dating, fortunately.
