Wow! Both of them are on my PNL, but I've never thought about making a combo of them.
I probably sound strange, but I strongly prefer Tessa to Theresa. Theresa lacks all the fun Tessa has, imo. Personal associations:
Tessa — yellow flowers, sunny spring.
Ione (in spite of the meaning) — fresh snow and frosty morning. So, it's Tessa Ione.

I've never known a Theresa who went by Tessa; and I've never known a Tessa whose name was a nn for Theresa. I love Tessa and don't enjoy Theresa at all. Ione is better than Iona, from a sound perspective, but I think it would be better as a mn. As a combo, both Tessa and Theresa end in -a and therefore run uncomfortably into Ione. But the names are so seldom said out loud together that it hardly matters. Tessa and Lucy; Tessa and Chloe; Tessa and Jane
Tessa and Stephen; Tessa and Graham; Tessa and Conrad

I really like Tessa. It has a fresh green vibe. Theresa is nice in a more sedate autumn of life way.
Ione looks like lone. When I first saw your post, I read it as lone, as in alone. Theresa goes better with Ione. I like Tessa with some other middle name more. Theresa, Susannah, and Nathaniel
Tessa, Hazel, and Simon

1. Tessa is very pretty, I much prefer it to both Theresa and Tess.
2. Ione is unique and beautiful, though I do like Iona more.
3. Tessa Ione

I like Tessa as a full name. It doesn't sound like a NN of Theresa as much as it looks the part. I wouldn't give Theresa a nickname. I prefer Teresa because the H looks harsh.Ione is very pretty but kind of strange - like "irony". Theresa Ione is super pretty! Siblings' possible names:
Sebastian "Theo" Theodolph
Damian "Lu" Luther
Richard "Ricky" Sylvain
Christian "Ty" Tybalt
Benjamin "Benny" Castiel Mariana "Ebbie" Ebony
Margaret "Fee" Delphine
Agatha "Jules" Julienne
Roberta "Bobby" Antoinette
Elizabette "Lizz" Trudy

I know a Teresa who goes by Tessa, but I like Tessa better as its own name. I also like Tess as a nn for Tessa. I like Teresa better than Theresa and how much I like it varies. I certainly don't dislike it. Ione has a nice meaning. I wouldn't use it myself, but the sound is decent to my ears. I don't tend to think much about sibling combos in that way, sorry.
