It's just not doing it for me. It sounds quite weird, just like naming a daughter Beretta, I guess. I prefer the name Brett on a boy.

I like that it isn't too popular, but don't like that gives an elderly vibe. I think it could grow on me.

An acquaintance named their son this, which was pleasantly unexpected. Pleasant in that it's a rare sighting (not just another Emmett or Everett) and I'm fond of names with old-school vibes.
