[Opinions] My new guilty pleasure name
I would never use it in real life, but…Fairylight. It’s so beautiful and Christmassy! What do you think? I would use Fairylight Joy, if I was being extra whimsical, and call siblings Nightingale Hope and Peregrine Star.

I definitely have a soft spot for whimsical names like this. Fairylight is really sweet and I love Nightingale. Along similar Christmas-y whimsy names I really Snowdrop and Winterberry.

I like Nightingale Hope and Peregrine Star, they both look dreamy and magical to me, also has a nice flair. I don't like Fairylight though, it sounds quite childish to me, but it's okay.

I can't judge because my recent GP is Lunlumo "moon light".Fairylight reminds me of the two things:
- the name Ferelith
and
- will-o'-the-wisp,
So this name is also very Halloween, imo.

Do you like the meaning of Lunlumo more than you like the sound? Ayla means moonlight in Turkish :)

Good question! Honestly, I noticed the sound first (I'm fond of names like Lunlumo: Lumi, Luminita, Luna, Calluna)
But I absolutely adore the meaning.Ayla is gorgeous!

I consider myself a fan of extraordinary feminine names (I even made a post about frilly names days ago) but this is beyond my likings. It's very hippy-ish and too whimsical. I know it's unusable in real life, but it would only fit certain fictional characters, like Tinkerbell's friend or a princess in a far, far fantasy kingdom. It just... sounds really strange to me.
Although I really like the combo "Peregrine Star".
