[Opinions] Martin Arthur

They’re both nice names but the repetition of the r sound is bugging me.
The repetition of the “ar” sound is bothersome for me.
I love Arthur a lot, actually, but it’s so obscenely popular here that I couldn’t use it. I don’t like Martin in the way that I would want to use it for a child, it’s more that I just think it’s a really solid name whenever I hear it. It’s not quite ripe yet.

I absolutely adore the name Martin, but Arthur does seem a bit dated to me (I think it's still usable, though). Both names are nice but together the combo sounds too classic. If one of the names (Arthur, in my opinion) was changed for a more "modern" one, it would be nicer (Martin Anton, for example, sounds classic and has a modern touch, I think).
It doesn't sound good together at all, the repeated art/arth sounds one after another throw it off. I think Martin is a stiff, stuffy name and Arthur is that plus kind of doofy, probably due to the Arthur books and TV show.
I like both names, but together the sound bugs me a bit: the repeated ar sounds in the first syllables isn't the best, and although both names aren't often used out loud, when they are they sound like Marti Narthur.
The combo is ok. I like Martin, do really like it but ok as a mn
I love Arthur, and like Martin. The combo is adorable!
Martin is one of my favourite boy names! I love it, I don't think it's dated at all.
I don't like Arthur as much, but the combo sounds decent.
