It may be a real word but it's so little used it seems like not a word, like since you have to explain it everytime you introduce yourself, it's show-offy on the parents' part.
Also, the priss sound is even more pronounced than in Priscilla. And in fact, apricity sounds as if it's a fancy word for prissiness.
