Lucie, like Lucy, is gorgeous. It would definitely get misspelled in English-speaking countries and I wouldn't recommend using it unless you're really attached to Lucie and not Lucy. I've never really liked any of the full forms of Lucie / Lucy, although Lucienne is probably my favorite. I think it's find as a standalone, though; it's not one of those short names that needs a full form.

I know a Lucy who has a sister named Cara and I think that's a lovely combination. They have a brother too but I can't remember his name.
