[Opinions] Damon and Damian
What do you think of Damon and Damian? Damon always reminded me of demon.

I love the name Damon, it's one of my tippy top faves, and am sad about all the negative associations people have.
Also sad that it's getting a little dated.
I associate Damian more with "evil" characters, because of The Omen. But I met a Damian once and he was cool, I liked his name alright. It seemed sorta "edgy" to me, because he was born around 1980 when the Omen association was stronger than it is now.
I like Damon because I like the sound of it, it doesn't remind me of demon - but also because of the story of Damon and Pythias.

I'm neutral towards Damon. I've no strong opinions of it either way, but I definitely prefer Damian. Damian has been a long time favorite of mine. I find it very attractive and appealing. And I get the Damon Demon thing. Part of the reason for why I prefer Damian more.
Edit: Wait, hold the phone, Demon is an actual name?! Yikes! None anyone would use though, I hope. 😆

I like both, but I like Damian a bit more.
I like both
I like Damian. It has multiple historical namesakes, so I don't associate it with just one person. The patron saints of physicians connection is neat.
I agree with you about Damon. It has plenty of historical usage too, but the sound of it makes me think of a 2000s kid trying to be edgy or a diehard "The Vampire Diaries" fan.

I don't like either of them.
