I really love those names...
Not really as baby names right now, because fashion. But still. Great sound. Relaxed and soft in a way, but still sharp, not flimsy.
Kendra is more like ... a Raven, Ember, or Gianna of the seventies. It gives me a "stormy" vibe, like the name Stormy but not so lame.
Sandra is like Lucy but different era - nobody was using Alexandra when Sandra was popular, and a lot of people like Lucy but not any of the names it's a nick for, today.

I know Sandra s dated, but for some reason I’ve never liked Kendra, even a little bit. I’ve never really disliked it either, but I don’t find it appealing at all. I think Sandra is nice.

Both sound dated to me, but for now I prefer Kendra. Kendra as the short form of LaKendra and Sandra as the short form of Alexandra.

Both are okay, but very dated.

Kendra's cute. Of the two, I'd probably go with that. :)
