I like both names but I like Cade better than Rylan. I prefer Caden with Cade as a nickname. Where I'm from, neither name is trendy.

I slightly prefer Cade, but both are too trendy for my taste. :-/ (However, Cade is better than Caden/Kaiden/Kaydon, etc.)

They both seem a bit too trendy for me, yeah, but they're not unappealing to me if used by other people. Cade to me is more rugged and friendly sounding, Rylan is more formal and sophisticated sounding. Personally I'd prefer Rylan spelled Ryland, since it seems like a surname name to me (lest it be an invention based on Ryan - which I'd not care for), and without the D it looks incomplete to me. So, Cade vs. Rylan: Cade. Cade vs. Ryland: Ryland, by a tiny margin. It's just a style difference; neither name seems overwhelmingly more likeable to me.- mirfak

They're both trendy it just depends on what you want.Rylan will sound more familiar than Cade, but it could also sound like a lazy spinoff of Ryan. Cade has more strength to it in my opinion. My vote is for Cade.

I really, really dislike both, sorry. I do think they're way too trendy. But if I had to choose, I'd choose Cade.

I love the name Cade...it's one of my personal favorites :) Rylan doesn't really appeal to me, although I like Ryan. So, if I had to choose between the two, I'd definitely be inclined to go with Cade. I don't think they're too trendy. They're not names that you hear everywhere, although they are rising in popularity.
