Sounds like the Polish variant, more commonly spelled Ewa. For a middle name, I would opt for a name with 3 or more syllables to give the name a different kind of flow. Or you can mix it up with a middle name from a different background - ancient Greek or Latin can funk it up.

Eve- ah is my preferred pronouncation. Ev-ah or Ay-va are not realy my cup of tea.
