I really like Josiah.
Japheth - I don't like the english pronounciation.Joachim - well, where I'm from, it's a name for men 60 + ... don't like it, and I think it doesn't fit.

Not a fan of Josiah... A friend in school had a younger brother called Joss, poor kid was always correcting people calling him Josh, and tbh I'm not sure where Joss came from anyway, it did sound a bit like Josh said wrong. Josiah is just too heavily biblical for me, UK based and unusual Bible names are so rare here, a lot of those -iah names just don't get used and I can never get used to them.
Japheth... worked with a guy called this for a couple of years. He seemed lovely whenever we crossed paths, I still have NO idea how to say his name, every time I tried I got corrected. It wasn't just me, he ended up going by Jay and I ended up feeling terrible. I find this name impossible to say.
I've also come across Joachim the Polish/German/Nordic/Germanic?? way. With a 'y' basically. It sounds wrong to me with an English 'j', I've only heard it said that way as the 'wrong way' to say the name only to be corrected to a 'y' pronunciation. It's ok, I'm not a fan but I've come across it quite a bit.

I don't like Joss, it makes names sound elderly and frail. Especially in this case, when Josiah sound so youthful. Japheth is definitely my favourite of the three. Joachim is nice, but there are other versions I like better

My first reaction to a sibset like this would be that their parents were religious fundamentalists (of the Christian variety - the Duggars also have the J theme). I suppose they could also be Jewish, though I think the Hebrew forms of the names - particularly the latter two - would more likely be used in that case.Individually, Josiah is the only name of the three that I like.

Jos and Joachim are names people I know have, so obviously biased here.
As a lineup, I think it is too monotone. I would swap out Joss or Joachim for a name with different vowel combination. Jeremiah comes to my mind as a name that would fit this list more.

I got to be honest, but actually I don't like any of the names at all. The fact that they have the same initial quite bothers me. Also the name sounds quite a bit of overtly religious.

I hate Joss. It's like Ross smushed with Josh.
Josiah is not my style but OK, and I think Joe would be a more natural nickname.
Japheth is kinda neat, the -f-th sounds together are not my thing at all, too spitty, but nn Jafe and it could be cool.
Joachim seems awkward in English and too religiony for me. I dislike the sound of it.

The other 2 names are ok

None appeal. Josiah feels heavy and pastor-like. Japheth is incredibly ugly and curmudgeonly. Joachim makes me think of Ribbentrop. Not a great namesake.

I'm lukewarm towards Josiah. I can only picture it on someone coming from an overly religious-type family. Very overt Christian. Church service every Sunday and prayers at the dinner table and bedtime.
Don't care for the other two at all.
