[Opinions] Re: Patience, Persephone or Primrose?
in reply to a message by need more iron
Persephone is a strong, beautiful name with a great Greek goddess association, but might be hard to pronounce for people unfamiliar with Greek. It also doesn't shorten well. Persie?
Primrose is lovely but extremely girly. Rose is safer, or Primrose "Rose". Personally, I'd probably go for Rosemary instead.
Patience is a GP of mine. I think it makes a neat middle name, along with other virtues such as Temperance, Pleasance, Peace, etc.
LISTEN TO THE MUSTN'TS
- Shel Silverstein
Listen to the MUSTN'TS, child,
Listen to the DON'TS
Listen to the SHOULDN'TS
The IMPOSSIBLES, the WON'TS
Listen to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me—
Anything can happen, child,
ANYTHING can be.
