This. I can’t get past it meaning “already “ in French.

I met a Deja about ten years ago when I had a surgery and was held up in the hospital for a few days as a teenager. It was a fellow patient, maybe 4-ish years younger than me (about 13/14 when I was 18) she was very sweet and drew me pictures in her bed of my favorite types of flowers. A troubled girl that struggled with a lot of demons, but very sweet. I think of her. I hope she is okay wherever she is in the world now. Because of this I think of a character on par with Ophelia via Hamlet. Beautifully tragic and tragically beautiful.

Do you get deja vu when she’s with youuuuuI actually like the sound of it but realistically I wouldn’t use it. I would love to actually see it on somebody though. It’s just pretty. Deja Nadine

I mean, it’s like asking for everyone to ask if your middle name is Vu or questions along that line.

I like the sound but it is weird to be named 'already' and I don't know why this name got popular. The first time I met one I thought it was interesting and rare, but since then I've met and heard of a lot more people with this name and I don't get it. It has a nice sound but why did it catch on?

It does rather seem like a set up for a joke.

It gives me strong Y2K vibes because wasn't there a very minor character in The Matrix named this? The girl with the white rabbit tattoo. No wait, her name was Du Jour. Or Toujours. Something French and cool. Anyway, I like it because it reminds me of names I thought were neat when I was a teenager.
