[Opinions] Heverlee
I was watching a tv programme on a maternity ward. One couple named their new daughter Heverlee which is also a brand of Belgium beer. They were shown to have two other children whose names we don’t find out. My suggestions for the other two children would be Mojito
Hennessy
Brandy
Chardonnay
Tequila What do you think of Heverlee and what would you name the other children?

Heverlee is not the best, it reminds me of the word heavily (I didn’t know about the alcohol). At least she can always go by Lee if she wants.I actually think Hennessy is a half decent name for a boy or girl. The others not so much, although Brandy would be familiar to people so not too bad.

I’ve never heard of this brand of beer, but it sounds bad. It just made me think of “heavy”.

I'm not at all familiar with the brand, but I still think it sounds pretty bad. It's worse than Heavenly-and that's certainly saying a lot. I also dislike the spelling. Too many 'E's

Well that's terrible. Naming your child after alcohol has always come across as trashy to me.

Definitely agree, and I never even heard of this brand

I had a colleague whose daughter named her own daughter a made-up name composed of half of her own name and half of the father's. It wasn't Brietta = Brian + Henrietta, but that's the idea. And her two middle names were the names of her parents' favourite drinks: they'd met in a pub where the mother was a barmaid. So, Brietta Sherry Amstella! And the mns are the genuine article.

It's terrible. Sounds like "heavy Lee" or "heavily".I have a soft spot for Brandy, it feels so warm and friendly but I'm weird ;)

lol my grandmother and one of her sisters are Sherry and Brandy after the alcohol lmao! I have met a Chardonnay as well. Interestingly, they were a waitress at a high-end restaurant.
