[Opinions] Family BA
My cousin and his wife had their first child together: Declan Richard Anthony. He joins his older half brother David.

Declan is okay but I like both Richard and Anthony. Anthony too being a family name. All in all it’s a solid name. Congrats to the family.

Declan isn't my cup of tea. It's okay, but certainly not a name that I would ever use, and for personal reasons too. Declan Richard Anthony sound nice enough, and pairs ok with David, although I don't really care for siblings names sharing the same initials, even though I know that sometimes happens.

Both d names, I don't like sibs with same initials and David and Declan are so different in style

I agree. Declan seems more dated, whereas David is more timeless and classic. I can picture David on any age, honestly, but not so much when it comes to Declan.

To me it's the opposite 😅
David I can only picture on middle-aged men

Here in the US, Declan has only recently flirted with the top 100 in the past few years. I think there are probably many people here who are unfamiliar with the name. I know both of my parents acted like they never heard it before. Obviously David is a timeless classic.

Makes sense. I mean the name definitely doesn't get used as much as it probably does in some other countries (?? I don't know) Not that I'm complaining. 😂

What a great name! I like Richard in the middle spot.
