[Opinions] Calbie (nickname)
I've been brainstorming nicknames for my friend Charlotte. She doesn't mind Charles, Charlie, Char, etc. but doesn't love them. Her initials are CALB and so we came up with the invented name Calbie as a nickname. I think it's cute, although I keep trying to say Colby or Callie. Thoughts?

It seems overthought and a little awkward to me but if you kept it up long enough it might stick?
I favor just Cal. Feels more natural as a name.
If that's too sexless, I kinda think Challie / Challey (sha-lee, like the word 'challis', not a hard TCH like Charlie) would work as a nick for Charlotte.
Also just Cha (Char without the R, 'a' as in 'cat') would work as familiar address. Or Chaz (shaz)

Calbie reminds me of Calvin as well (“bald”). Just the sound makes me picture a bald person. It’s unattractive imo and Cally would be better.
I don't like Calbie. I like Cally, Char or Carly
