I like it, definitely a guilty pleasure for me but I do like it

I could use Sophie as a nickname.

Very flattering and elegant.

It's glorious. A steampunk book series I read as a child had a flying space pirate ship called Sophronia :) Phronsie is a sweet nickname. I prefer it to Sophia.

I love it and greatly prefer it to Sophia. I love Sophonisba even more.

I'm bored to tears of Sophia, Sophronia sounds like a great idea to me. I prefer Sophonisba though in terms of "similar" names

I've liked it for years. For some reason I thought the meaning was more like wise than self-controlled, but looking it up again apparently I'm wrong. They're both good meanings (though I am partial to names meaning wisdom) and it has such a lovely refined sound.

It’s nice and I like the meaning, it’s just too bad that Sophia and Sophie exist, because this sounds like somebody thought they were too plain and added a few extra syllables.

Sophronia is an elegant, underused name, and a fantastic alternative to Sophia. The problem is, a real-life Sophronia will likely constantly be called Sophia. :-(
