Mimosa looks namey, but I don't like the image it evokes: an oversensitive, capricious "shrinking violet". I imagine a cartoon character, rather than a real person.
Mimosa Persephone - names look like two antonyms to me, imo.
As for nickname... Mimmu, perhaps? I saw it on BtN, it's a Finnish NN.
