[Facts] What does the name Amorfina/Ameurfina mean?
I also encountered the names "Amerfina" and "Amuerfina", but I'm unsure if they're related to Amorfina/Ameurfina since they have different pronunciations.

Almost certainly, it means “fine love” from Spanish “amor” + “fina”

Thanks! It wouldn't explain the variants though.

It actually does explain the variations, as not every country that speaks Spanish has the same accents and hence not the same pronunciation. I agree it is probably a transcription of a Filipino pronunciation. The Philippines were of course colonized by the Spanish for many years.

Hey this is just my assumption but... maybe it's a blend of the Spanish word amor meaning "love" and the word "Filipina"?

Where did you encounter them?

The first variation I found of the name was of Ameurfina Melencio Hererra, a Filipina lawyer -

Then I encountered Ameurfina a second time in a birth register. I saw the name Amorfina in Facebook, then finally I came across the names Amerfina and Amuerfina in two separate marriage records. All of these names have bearers on Facebook, though.
