I find Rose very boring and over-used. Flower names seldom appeal to me, and Rose is one of the dullest. I really like Rosamond and Rosemary, but I'd only use them as mns, to avoid Rose as a nn. As a mn, it is extremely trite: deep in my family tree is a distant cousin who was named Margaret Rose, just like the late Queen's sister, which I find embarrassing.

I think that Rose is such a beautiful name, especially as a first name. As a middle name, I’m tired of it; unless it has significance to the namer, of course. Roses come in many colors, just like individual personalities of people named Rose. So, for some reason, I feel that it’s also a “comfortable” name. 10/10.

I like it as a first name, bored to tears with it as a middle. One of my cousins used Rose as the middle name for both her daughters :(

Rose is really pretty but it's not flimsy, and Rosy or Rosie is a very sweet nickname.
