[Opinions] Eulalia/Eulalie
What do you think of these two names? YOO-LAY-LEE-UH and YOO-LAY-LEE.

I LOVE Eulalie. But I'd pronunced it in French. EUH-LAH-LEE.
The sound ''Eu'' is not easy to describe. I don't think there is something equivalent for english speakers. It's a bit like a ''erh'' sound, but remove the ''r'', if that makes sens?

Two of my favorite names! The meaning and sounds are gorgeous. Such gravitas and joy! I would name a daughter either one.
I like both, I think both of them really sounds soft and pleasing to my ears. But I prefer Eulalia though.
I pronounce them with a LA sound, the LAY pronunciation feels very awkward to form in my mouth and sounds like ukulele.
Don't like them
As names, I find them depressingly heavy, in spite of their lovely meaning. As a South African, I think immediately of a poem by one of our great literary figures, Uys Krige, who was a war correspondent in WWII, was captured, and wrote a poem in a concentration camp (from which he later escaped) in which he expresses his longing for home and for his daughter Eulalia.
