No, why would I hate them?I think they're both pretty and clear sounding, but I would prefer Crystal over Krystal if I were to use it myself, and Kristina has the same issue as other names meaning Christian, if I'm nitpicking.

I like them both ...I slightly prefer Kristina to Christina, but the opposite for Krystal; probably because Crystal is a word name and I don't like word-names to be spelled differently, in general.
At one point I'd have used Kristina. It's not a top-tier favorite anymore but I still really like it.
I like Crystal but not quite enough to use it, and anyway I've got a cousin named Crystal.

Interesting. I don't enjoy jewel names, and not being remotely religious I'd never use a name like Kristina. But I do prefer looking at both these names if they start with Ch or C raher than K, and I don't understand why because I also far prefer Katharine to Catherine, and Kathleen to Cathleen.

They are both acceptable, but would prefer Christina and Crystal-if I had to.

Hahaha, I love that it's implied that everyone hates these, like "which of these do you hate slightly less?"Kristina is my middle name. I used to hate it, but it's grown on me and now I'm fond of it. I was looking at a list of romance authors a few days ago and one of them was a Kristina-something, and it was actually very refreshing to see it. The cold spiky letters were cool and clear in a nice way, for that brief moment. It's a chilly name though, I agree, not really approachable. Krystal is fun in a neon-bubblegum 80s kinda way. I think I appreciate Krystal slightly more than Kristina. In terms of Crystal variations, Krystal is nice, it seems to suit itself, if that makes sense. It has a satisfying balance to it, even if that balance is on the flaky side - it's not Crystal, which is almost too blunt, too obviously a Thing, like naming someone Water or Seed. Yet it's not overly outlandish, it's not Cristall or Kristle or Chrystal or whatever fantasies people come up with. It removes the cry- from Crystal and turns it from a word into a name, and that's satisfying.

I don't hate either of them. I just assume everyone on the board will, lol.

I have a sister named Kristina, so naturally I associate the name with her. I'm not sure if I prefer it to Christina, but I know it isn't terrible by any means. I've also seen the name spelled as 'Krystyna' as a variant, and that is a definite eyesore IMO. I'm also fine with Krystal (pretty neutral towards it really), but do prefer Crystal.

Krystyna is the Polish war to spell. Different pronounciation.
