I once knew someone named Marina. She was born in the 80s, so I guess it's given as a name sometimes at least.

This name is beautiful but has always left me feeling cold. There's something so impersonal about it, I suppose because it's a word. But I don't always get that impersonal feeling from word names, so I don't know why this one gives me the chills. I like it but I don't really enjoy it. I'm adding this to my Uncanny Valley names list.
