...is what Percy Bysshe Shelley, and Mary Shelley, née Godwin, named one of their sons, the only of their children to survive past childhood.
His first name, naturally, honoured his father, while his middle name was given in reference to the city.

I think I'll go with Simon Meredith and Agnes Vincente.

I would rather use Percival than Perseus or Percy. Percy on its own reminds me of how I prefer Quentin and Quintus to Quincy.
Florence is passable for a boy because it sounds so much like Laurence and Florian. I don't love it for either gender but do prefer it as feminine.

ah Mary Shelley... idk how popular Percy was for a girl at this place and time (and I'm too lazy to check) but in my modern eyes it does feel like it would suit her persona well in naming-taste from what I do remember about her background and persona. I like Percy on a boy fine but I think I favor it as a nickname. I always think of Archibald “Archie” and Reginald “Reggie” as the quirky, off-beat, retro male duo but I think Percival "Percy" could round it off nicely in a trio.
