Dinah is one of my favorite names. :-) The biblical story of Dinah isn't a particularly nice one, but I also strongly associate it with Alice in Wonderland, which attracted me to the name in the first place. Yes, it's old fashioned, but I see that as a good thing.

I agree that the Biblical version isn't great, but I do love the book "The Red Tent" which retells the story of Dinah in a more Romantic way, because the bible doesn't often go into details about the patriarchal daughters, which makes me like the name much more.
