[Opinions] Kyle, Kyle, Kyle....
I think is a boring and dated name, yet it pops into my head all the time. Honestly, every time I try to rack my brain for boys names, the first thing that comes to mind is Kyle... even if I'm looking to find a sibset for Lazarus and Balthazar. I've never really liked it or hated it, but I'm wondering if my subconscious trying to tell me something. WDYT of Kyle?

I'm really neutral. It's not a favorite, but it doesn't sound bad to me. It's definately dated though, that's for sure! I work at an elementary school and Kyle is the second most prevalent name for boys, so I hear it a lot, but the Kyles that I work with are such great kids.Love is the lord of the house within him and rules all the concerns of his soul- Plato

For some reason, I like it. I think it's very 80s and kinda tacky, but I, too, think of it often. In the movie Flight Plan, Jodie Foster's character was named Kyle. I'm not really for or against boys names on girls, but I like this on a girl."No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

I had the same thing happen to me about ten years ago. The name Katherine / Catherine would pop into my mind every once and a while. I wondered if I was being haunted, or going crazy. Seriously, I don't think I would have used the name, though. There are others that feel more like they would be my child's name. It doesn't pop into my head anymore, so if I were you I'd stick to your prefered style (Lazarus, Balthazar, etc.)Love Balthazar, by the way.

I like Kyle, it's hardly ever used around here. I prefer Kyler though. I'd never use it, mainly because Dutch have difficulties pronouncing it prperly and alter it to: KAH-yol or something close to this. It doesn't go too well with Balthazar and Lazarus imo :P
(but maybe you like Eleazar, Zerachiel, Azarel or Azarias for that?)

I don't particularly like it. The sound isn't appealing, and I don't like the way it looks. The new wave of Kylies and female Kyles makes it even worse.I never really had a reason not to like it, but it goes with Ryan, Brian, Kevin, etc as 80s/90s name that isn't good or bad, but is unmemorable and unappealing to me. Sorry!

No need to apologize......that's exactly how I feel about it too. And yet I keep going back to it and I have no rational explanation why.

Then again, I have no ration explanation why I don't like it. I just always haven't! lol

It's okI know sooo many since I was born in 1981 and it was very popular in and around the 80s. It's a nice enough name, although not one of my favorites, and obviously all of the Kyles I know are relatively nice because I have no bad thoughts at all about any of them._________________________________________________

I really like Kyle. My friend's little son is Kyle and he's adorable. I think it's a handsome name.
