What do you think of Theda? I love the sounds and the association with Theda Bara but am a bit uncomfortable with the fact that the name is simply a contraction of Theodora (or, in Bara's case, Theodosia). I also like Theta—I think letter names are cool—but hate that it evokes fraternities/sororities (here in the U.S.).

I always loved the urban legend that she called herself Theda because it's "death" rearranged. Such a vamp.
I like Theda, although I stumble over the pronunciation: is it thee-da, thay-da? I use both and I'm never satisfied with either.
It's so dramatic but also rather humble, almost frumpy in a certain light, I like that about it.
Theda Mireille world be gorgeous, another name I can never say properly, what a combo.

I like it quite a bit. Of the combos you have listed, I particularly like Theda Francine, Theda Laurence, Theda Melisande.

Theda is one of my guilty pleasures. It just seems so cute to me. I do tend to prefer it as a middle name or nn for Theodosia..( I'm not huge on Theodora) but I do like several of your combos.

Theda definitely sounds more namey than Theta - warmer, more approachable. Theta sounds very clinical. I much prefer Theodosia over Theodora. I have no idea who Theda Barr is.
Of your combos I like Theda Lucille and Theda Verity the best. Theda Roxanne is cool too.

I saw Theda for the first time in one your polls and I instantly added it to my list. I had to look up Theda Barr and the name seems to fit her perfectly!

Theda Angelica (makes me think of herb gardens. Tranquil and sweet)
Theda Cecily (Cecily reminds of me Cecily Mary Baker and I think I can love almost any name if paired with the name Cecily)

I think Theda can stand on its own, just because it's technically a contraction doesn’t mean it doesn't also work by itself. Maybe not as appealing to me as Thea, but you do you.
Also, wasn't the stage name Theda Bara specifically chosen because it was an anagram of "Arab death" and made her sound "exotic"? That's what I read once, anyway.
I like Theda Rosalind and Theda Solange.
