I like Joel and I think Joelle on a girl could be interesting but haven’t come across it in real life. Noel on a boy is not my thing but Noelle on a girl is ok.

There was a Joelle in BoJack Horseman. That caught my attention. I think it's a pretty name.

Joel is fine. Noel is so monotone to me. Noelle is much better imo.

Joel I like. It’s not a name you hear all the time. Noel doesn’t do anything for me, don’t like it.
