[Opinions] Nicknames for the name Versailles?
So, I've been thinking of using the name Versailles for a character as I find it very beautiful sounding but I feel it would need a nickname and am struggling to find some good ones.
The name is pronounced ver-SIGH and I considered the nickname Vere (VEER) but I'd still like some more options to choose from, what do you think?

Very
Ery / Errie (pronounced like airy)
Era
Essie
And even though the double l is pronounce like y these might still work:
Sal
Sally / Sallie
Allie
Val
Vali / Vallie
And for something a little more out there maybe Palace as a nickname or a shorter version of it like Pal or Pally / Pallie

Ver (like the beginning of the word 'very')
Sai or Saille (like sigh)
Sailla for a girl or Saillo for a boy (like sigh-a / sigh-o)
V
I think of the palace but also the visual kei band when I hear Versailles.

Not all nicknames are derived from a person's given name - maybe the character goes by their last name or middle name, or a nickname that isn't related to their name at all.
But if you want the nickname to come from Versailles, maybe Vera or Ersa / Ursa? Or just V / Vee (although that's maybe too associated with V for Vendetta?)
Also, I'm curious - is the association with the palace something you like about the name?

Thanks! I never thought to use Vera but I really like it, Vee might work too.
I do love the palace Versailles and the imagery I think of when I hear the name. I also just love the way it rolls off the tongue and the use of the letter V which I love in names, and the overrall uniqueness of it. :)
