[Opinions] Tate
What do you think of the name Tate? I a six year old named Tate today. I think it is good for a little boy, but not so great for an adult... what are your thoughts on Tate?

Tate is a really cute name, I've known a little boy named Taylor who is called Tate, and I've also known a very out-going pastor in his early 30's named Tate. It is really cute and it doesn't seem to suit an adult as well as a child so I'd only use it as a nickname for almost any T name like Theodore, Tanner, Taylor, Terrence, Thaddeus, or even Thomas! I'd only ever use it as a nickname for girl is her name was something like Tatiana.

I would never use it, but I do like it. Don't ask me how that works. Anywho, Agreed. Sounds better on a boy than a man. "It's orange Ellen, orange! That's why they call it the red planet!!!" -Lakota

This is one I really like! I can see it on an adult too.

I like the name Tate. For some reason I always preferred the spelling Tait. (Just like I prefer the spelling Cait instead of Kate...)
