Funnily enough, I've just read 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, the 1633 play by John Ford, in which Annabella, the titular character, becomes pregnant as a result of her affair with her brother, and must marry her aunt's lover to protect her honour. Also makes me think of Byron's wife.

Too cutesy. Makes me picture a little girl dressed in lacy, frilly dresses and with curly blonde ringlet hair.
Annabel is a bit less cringey.

I love Annabel, too. Very classy. I prefer this to Annabella, not because it is less cutesy, but because it sounds more traditional. oq
