[Opinions] Louise
title; what do y'all think of louise?

It's ok. I do prefer Louisa or Eloise, though.
It sounds like 1700s France to me or early mid-century America. I think of it as the old school version of Lois (and now Eloise), even though they have different origins. It's kind of between Claire and Harriet stylewise maybe, or between Claude and Marie.

Love it. It is classic and classy too.
Pleasant; dated; much nicer than Louisa; more frequent as a mn currently.
Nice
I like Louisa and Luisa, but Louise feels like a filler middle name (even when it's not presented as a middle name). I feel the same way about Marie, yes it's overused as a middle name but even as a first name I still prefer Maria.
It's also because I prefer the soft "s". Louise has that "eez", like "Geez Louise", but Louisa can be pronounced with the soft s which is a big reason I prefer it. I also like -a endings in general.
