Greatly inspired by Dianatiger's recent post. 🙂
Here is the (presumably) full list of the American Girl historical collection. Felicity, Kit, Molly, Kirsten and Samantha were among the original, I believe. Over the years, there have been plenty more since the company's release during the 80's. I'll just share their first names, along with the year their story is set in.

My favorite names from the historical dolls are Kaya, Felicity, Elizabeth, Caroline, Maria, Marie-Grace, Rebecca, Margaret, Ruth, Alice, Molly, Melody, Julie, and Isabel.
My favorites from the girl of the year doll’s names are Marisol, Gwen, Sonali, Lanie, Isabelle, Grace, Luciana, and Maritza.
My favorites from the Wellie Wishers are Willa, Camille, Emerson, and Bryant.

Kaya is short for Kaya-Aton-My (spelling?) which supposedly means "she who arranges rocks" in the Ne Perce language.
Josefina's full name is Maria Josefina.
Cecile's last name is Rey, it's not a middle name.
Addy's full name is Aduke, after a West African grandmother.
Kit's full name is Margaret Mildred Kittredge, and Ruthie is Ruth Smithens.
You missed the Hawaiian girl, Alice Nanea Mitchell, who goes by Nanea.

I can provide more details about the dolls, and add their modern "Girl of the Year" characters.
Kaya-Aton-My: (I may have misspelld that a bit.) Nez Perce, her name supposedly means "she who arranges rocks."
Felicity Merriman and Elizabeth Cole.
Caroline Abbott
Maria Josefina Montoya (she's of Spanish descent)
Kirsten Larsen (She comes from Sweden to Minnesota.)
Marie-Grace Gardner and Cecile Rey (Rey is her last name.) They are from New Orleans, Marie-Grace is white, Cecile is black.
Aduke Walker is of West African descent and Aduke is after a grandmother. She's called Addy, and the family takes the name Walker after they walk north to freedom.
Samantha Mary Parkington and Nellie O'Malley Nellie is an Irish immigrant, Samantha is an upper-class American.
Rebecca Rubin is a Russian-born Jewish girl.
Claudie Wells is a black girl from Harlem
