There’s a kid name Sherlock at the summer camp I work at. I don’t know if it actually works in real life. Thoughts?

It would work brilliantly on, say, a bloodhound. Any kind of sniffer dog, actually. But not on a living human. I really, really hope that little boy doesn't have a brother named Mycroft!

It's totally tied to the one fictional character, and it's often used as a sarcastic name for someone who isn't too bright.

What’s funny about it is that this kid is a non-stop meme and TikTok spouting machine. Honestly I think some of the other kids think he’s annoying.
